This policy explains what data we collect when you use the app, how we use and protect it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

a) Account data

• Sign in with Apple: your Apple user identifier and email (which may be an Apple “Hide My Email” relay address). We never see your Apple password.
• Profile: username, display name, optional avatar, and optional details you choose to add (bio, country/city, favorite player/legend, the year you became a fan).

b) Content you create

• Posts, comments, predictions, match-room messages, votes and ratings, follow/block relationships, and reports you submit.
• Images you upload (avatar/cover) are stored with our storage provider.

c) Notification data

• A push token, your notification preferences, and display language, via our push provider (OneSignal), to deliver the alerts you opt into.

d) Usage data (anonymized analytics)

• Anonymized usage analytics (e.g., screen views and generic events) via TelemetryDeck to improve the app. This is not used to track you across apps and is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Data

• To run the community (posting, engagement, following, predictions, rooms).
• To send notifications you have enabled.
• For moderation and safety (reviewing reports, blocking, enforcing community guidelines).
• To translate public news headlines/summaries into Arabic (only the public article text is sent to the AI provider — no personal data).
• To improve performance and experience via anonymized analytics.

3. Service Providers (Third Parties)

• Apple — sign-in and push (APNs).
• Supabase — database hosting, authentication, storage.
• OneSignal — push notification delivery.
• Anthropic (Claude) — translating/summarizing public news text (no personal data).
• football-data.org — match and standings data (no personal data).
• TelemetryDeck — anonymized usage analytics.

4. No Selling, No Tracking

We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

5. Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us below; we will action it within a reasonable time, subject to legal requirements.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children below the age stated in its age rating, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Security

We use access controls and encryption in transit, and we never embed secret keys in the app. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. Your Rights

You can access and edit your data within the app, or request a copy or deletion via the email below.

9. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date above for any material change.
